Hear and Say
O’Brien Group is a major sponsor and supporter for the Hear & Say charity. Hear and Say is a world-leading Paediatric Auditory-Verbal and cochlear implant centre. They have been teaching deaf children to listen and speak since the early 1990s.

Guardian Program Donation
The KIDS Foundation has been operating for 25 years and has a number of highly successful programs that are making a significant positive impact on the lives of many children and their families. It is an organisation dedicated to injury prevention and recovery.
The Guardian Program is one of the unique ways KIDS seeks financial support from people and organisations looking to make a difference. In their 25th year of operation, KIDS needs 25 new Guardians – people who will provide a valuable donation and become ambassadors of the organisation.

Homeless Connect
O’Brien Group Australia provides all the food and beverage for Homeless Connect an event held at Heritage Bank Stadium that brings together service providers from the government and community sector to provide homeless people with a day that includes entertainment, personal care (showers, haircuts, healthcare) and access to a range of support services.

Good Friday Appeal
O’Brien Icehouse has donated a dollar from every ticket sold on the day of the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal Each year the Good Friday Appeal brings together people from all parts of the community to raise much needed funds for equipment, research and education to support the work of The Royal Children’s Hospital.
The strength of the Good Friday Appeal lies with the thousands of people who volunteer their time, expertise and creativity to organise fundraising activities throughout the year. Together they have raised more than $291 million for the benefit of the hospital since the Good Friday Appeal began in 1931.

Zaidees Rainbow Foundation
O’Brien Icehouse provides shared office space to the Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation. Zaidee’s aim is to make organ and tissue donation awareness more prevalent in our community. Zaidee’s hopes to greatly improve the donation rate year upon year, giving those that are currently on transplant waiting lists a better chance at getting their transplant by encouraging people to register as Organ and Tissue Donors.

After an event O’Brien Group provides all surplus food to Ozcare for their Homeless Hostels. Ozcare is a leading not-for-profit organisation of professional and caring individuals. For the past 18 years they have delivered innovative and superior health and human services to the Queensland community.

Beyond Zero Emissions
O’Brien Group is committed to donating to the Beyond Zero Emissions until 2025. Beyond Zero Emissions Inc. is a not-for-profit research and education organisation known for its work designing and implementing a zero emissions economy for Australia. Its goal is to transform Australia from a 19th century fossil fuel based, emissions intensive economy to a 21st-century renewable-energy-powered clean-tech economy.

The Aboriginal Literacy Foundation
O’Brien Group is committed to donating to the Aboriginal Literacy Foundation until 2025. The priority of the Aboriginal Literacy Foundation is to provide ongoing literacy programs and opportunities for Indigenous young people through education and community based initiatives such as the Books for Learning Program, Literacy and Heritage Camps, Literacy Resource Packs and Support Services, Literacy Tutoring and Testing, Research, and Evaluation.

Women for Women in Africa
Women for Women in Africa provides education to children who would otherwise have no chance of undertaking schooling. O’Brien Group Australia sponsors Fridah Omutenje to attend school and eventually university. Fridah lives in Kibera, Nairobi. Fridah lost her mother and currently she lives with her aunt who has three children. Fridah has a dream of becoming a nurse after her studies.
